Steps to feel the chi in your hands:
1) Place your hands about three inches apart facing each other and close your eyes or keep them half open. Do not tense, just relax.
2) Concentrate on feeling the center of your palms and simultaneously be aware of your entire hand for about five to ten minutes. At the same time, inhale and exhale slowly and rhythmically. Concentration is facilitated by pressing the centers of your palms with your thumbs before starting.
